How do you contend with choosing between roughly a humpteen jillion different AI packages to find the one best suited for you and your needs? While not a precise scientific measure of the number of AI software packages available. it isn’t too far off – particularly if you are the one responsible for making a selection.
Once you’ve chosen the use case you want to address first (which is another blog for another time), how do you decide what to try? Just because GenAI is at the top of the hype cycle, is it what you should be using to solve your challenge?
While working with a trusted advisor such as Government Acquisitions, Inc. (GAI) is a great first step to being able to explore different options, sometimes you want to be able to also see the software in action for yourself. Demos are good to get a flavor for the software, and pilots are terrific to start to get a better handle on the software with your own data and environment. However, pilots also require more commitment from your organization from a time, resources, and budget perspective.
GAI is introducing our new AI- Try Now! offer. This creates an “onramp” to AI. It allows you to safely try a particular ISV’s AI platform within the secure GAI environment for 2-4 weeks at no cost or risk. Leveraging publicly available datasets and hosted, dedicated infrastructure, GAI’s AI-Try Now! capabilities will allow you to try out an ISV’s platform, see how it works even if it isn’t on exactly the same data and questions you may ask in a pilot. You can explore questions such as – Is it returning the type of answers you would expect? Is the interface simple or clunky? Does it spark ideas or feedback on what you may want to accomplish with a pilot?
Launching at the beginning of April, GAI will host this AI – Try Now! capability for customers who will be able to securely sign up and try out different AI environments. The first ISV we will include in this environment will be Certara.AI. Certara.AI provides secure, scalable data fabric capability enhanced by GPT and LLM data analysis and no-code interfaces for being able to work with your data without coding. Not only will public government policy and regulations be available, we will also include access to Certara’s biomedical research fabric which includes 9-10 different Healthcare/Life Sciences sites such as PubMed, Clinical Trials, and bioRxiv.
You and your team will be provided access to the software and data to be able to try out different scenarios. We will also provide an AI – Try Now engineer to initially meet with you on your desired use cases, propose ways to achieve those goals with the software, and help you get started. They will be available to provide as much or as little help as you might want in trying out the new software approach.
We are excited to share this approach with you! Our goal is to simplify experiencing new AI approaches. We welcome your feedback and thoughts as you try this out.
